Tooth, GMAT, Love Blogging!

Good Morning! This is the first blog for August. Can you believe it's August already??? Last year at this time I was 8 months pregnant and so excited and scared about being a mommy and now I have a beautiful 10 month old baby who's crawling, babbling, and feeding himself. He is such a joy and I am truly blessed to be his mother.
Well today I have a couple things to update about our family. First, William is getting yet another tooth! It's the upper left tooth. I haven't been able to see it yet, mainly because he won't let me get too close, but I have felt it. So that makes 3 total. I didn't think that so many teeth would come so quickly. I hate seeing him in pain, but it's so cute to watch those little teeth come through.
Also on Sunday, AJ signed up to take the GMAT which is the admissions exam for pursuing graduate school for business! He'll take it in November. I'm so proud of him! I told him I was proud and he thought I was silly because he hasn't even taken it yet. That doesn't matter to me - the fact that he is driven and wants to pursue his Master's degree in Business is a big deal. Granted he hasn't taken it yet, but I know he'll do well on it. He's a smart boy! And what really means so much is that he's doing this for his own personal goals, as well as the desire to secure a strong future for our family. What an amazing guy! Once he takes the test we'll have a better idea of when he'll start school and which school he'll be going to.
And finally, I have to say that I love this blog. Not only because I get to update friends and family on what we're up to or because I get to write all my thoughts out and look back at pictures. Nope, it's because I have an official reference to William's milestones. AJ and I were talking the other day and I realized that I hadn't updated his baby book about when he crawled, or his teeth, basically anything since his last doctor's appointment. I thought that I was a terrible new mommy, and tried to remember when all this stuff actually happened. Then, I thought "Hmmm... I wrote it all in the blog!" So thank goodness for that because now I have the exact dates that I can put in the baby book instead of me sitting with a calendar making somewhat educated guesses. Thank you Jessica Friedel for giving me this idea :-)
