Well I just re-read my last post and man am I glad that day was over. I do think a lot had to do with hormones, but whatever it was, everyone is entitled to a bad day. Also, on Thursday William's 5th tooth broke through. It's the lower right one - which could explain his severe crankiness in the week. Well 2 days later, Friday, was my birthday. It was a great birthday. William and I spent the day together since Addy and family went to Louisville for the weekend. We traveled on to Opry Mills and did a little shopping. I found some great deals and bought William a couple sweaters. He was such a dream in the stroller. He just chilled out and sang and watched the people go by. He took his naps on time and was just a well behaved perfect little angel! When AJ came home, William gave me my birthday present - a Snoogle! It's a maternity body pillow. William loved jumping on the pillow in it's package and I felt a little guilty taking it out for bed that night - but I did replace it by putting my old body pillow in the bag so we're good. Back to the Snoogle. Ok, so I didn't think it was that great before I had one. But boy was I wrong! I almost feel guilty being so comfortable in bed. I would like to let AJ use it one night, but I don't think I can give it up. I call it my boyfriend, since it's so cuddly and always has me wrapped up and is "snoogled" around me.
The rest of my birthday was great as well. We went to dinner at a place near the airport and the name has completely escaped me right now - Prego Brain! (I'll fill it in later when I remember it) After dinner we went to Kroger and got a yummy red velvet cake. We returned home to flowers awaiting me at the doorstep. They were from my boyfriend. Just kidding! Hee hee! AJ had sent me 2 dozen roses for my birthday. He was a little miffed because he wanted them to come during the day while I was at home with the kids, to surprise me, but they didn't get there until 7:20pm. Isn't he just the sweetest husband? The flowers are just gorgeous! I also got a gift of a professional prenatal massage. I love you AJ!
The weekend was great as well. I went to lunch with Samantha on Saturday with no kiddies and it was nice. It must have been awhile since we've gotten together like that because we were at lunch for 3 hours! Sunday, William and I went to Samantha's for a playdate with our little playdate group. And then we just chilled out at home and watched the Super Bowl. Now it's Tuesday and this week is off to a great start (crossing fingers.) Hope you are all having a nice week too!
