It's nice to be home

So we're back! Austin was fun! It was nice to see the Porfirio family and have them meet William. He was such a cutie (when is he not?) and reacted really well to everyone. I thought he may be a bit intimidated by all the people, but he loved looking at everyone - especially those little cousins of his, Archer and Chance. The plane rides are starting to become more of a challenge than in his earlier days of flying. It started off great coming home - he fell asleep with the bottle which he never does so I'm thinking, "Whew! He's out for the whole ride." Nope! An hour later he woke up ready to go! He's trying to crawl so now he's squirming a lot when we hold him. And he wants to get into everything. So for another hour, we had to try to keep him happy and not disturb our neighbors which is becoming quite the challenge. Overall, not bad though. He doesn't scream and cry so I am thankful for that. He just wants to play and doesn't want to be confined to mommy's lap.

One more thing. Our friends here in Nashville, Heath and Samantha, just had their little baby boy Hudson on Saturday June 21st. I went to visit them today and meet the little guy and he's so adorable. He's about the same size that William was at birth (7lb 11oz, 21 in.) but it's so hard to believe he was once that small. We'll go visit this weekend so that William can meet his new buddy.
