For those who haven't heard - we're having another baby!!! Right now, I'm 9 weeks pregnant and VERY tired! My due date is June 28th, 2009. We found out about 4 weeks ago - the day after the Jack Daniels BBQ festival. October 26 at around 3pm. AJ was in denial about taking the test, but I just didn't feel right. So, I took the test and not believing that the faint little + sign meant YES. I came out of the bathroom and looked at AJ, the expression on my face must have been enough for him to go see for himself. We were so happy. Although, I will admit that I did have a brief freak-out. What am I going to do with 2 kids under 2 years old??? By that evening I had gotten all that out of my system and we are so excited to have a little brother or sister for William.
Overall, I've been feeling good, but did I mention I'm tired? This morning (and all day) I had a bit of nausea and felt like I had a hang-over, but without the crazy party the night before. That's probably the worst I've felt to date. We had the 8 wk ultrasound this past Monday and I've included the picture. I will say it's not the best view, but we did get a great shot of the baby's heartbeat and got to hear it. It was 141 bpm. And don't worry, that old wives tale of the heart rate determining gender won't work for us. William's was 167 bpm and clearly he's a boy. Well I hear a little one crying for his mama downstairs so I best be going. Love to all and Happy Thanksgiving this week!
