I've decided that as part of my new soon-to-be role of stay at home mom, that I wanted to make some items to sell. I am still perfecting my skills, but I have made a few items that I've included pictures of. One set of burp clothes and a bib is a gift for our friends new baby Owen. The cloths are made of birdseye fabric along with cotton and some ribbon. The bib is made with a terrycloth backing. The others (monky pattern and stripes) are just other burp clothes I've made that are flannel with a soft quilting layer in the middle. With more washings the border will have a nice fringe to it. I plan to make more items soon, including baby girl dresses, baby overalls, and more bibs and burp cloths. To be honest though, this new baby is taking a lot out of me and I barely have enough energy to sleep. However, this shall pass and I'll be on a roll with my new sewing adventure.
